This No. 6 chessboard combines walnut and maple inlay with a distinctive black stripe, making it a refined board for large chess pieces.
It measures 54 × 54 cm and has 58 × 58 mm squares, so it is suitable for pieces with a king height of 9.5–11 cm. The board has a walnut and maple veneer inlaid finish, and four pads on the underside help it sit steadily on a table, desk or other hard, level surface.
The design is inspired by the electronic DGT walnut/maple chessboard, but this version has no internal electronics. It is also made in Poland.
Each board comes with a free individual cardboard box with a cut-out window and chess print, which helps protect it in storage and transport.
