French Staunton Ebonised 4" chess pieces

French Lardy 4-inch chess pieces are a classic wooden set in a larger tournament size, made for play on boards with 55 mm squares. Their traditional French Lardy styling gives the pieces a familiar, elegant look, while the weighted construction helps them stand steadily on the board and feel comfortable in the hand during play.

The set includes 34 pieces: 16 light, 16 dark, and 2 extra queens, one in each colour. That makes promotion easier, without having to substitute another piece during the game.
