Sbd2 Sd7 11.Sxe4 fxe4 12.Sd2 ( Astrom -Ulibin, Göteburg 1999 ) bisher kein weißer Vorteil nachgewiesen werden konnte. Kapitel 3 beschäftigt sich mit weißen Alternativen im 7.Zug ( 7.Sbd2, 7.Se5, 7.Dc2 ). Diese Varianten sind nicht zu unterschätzen, der Autor warnt eindringlich davor, diese Varianten als minderwertig zu betrachten nur weil sie nicht so oft in der Praxis vorkommen. Im vierten Kapitel analysiert Aagaard den gefährlichen weißen Zug 5.Sh3. Dieser Zug stellt für den Stonewall die größte Herausforderung dar. Das fünfte Kapitel untersucht andere Abspiele des Nachziehenden im Stonewall (z.B. ohne c6).
